Fox News could not interrupt the video feed of Vice President Kamala Harris’ speech at The Ellipse near the White House on Tuesday night, so the network instead coped by inserting a series of catty comments that appeared on the chyron below Harris as she spoke.
During her speech, Harris took Donald Trump to task for calling his political opponents enemies, offered a positive vision of fighting on behalf of people being treated unfairly, criticized Trump’s plans to increase taxes on the middle class, touted her support for abortion rights, and discussed “the promise of America.”
