In a city with just over 10,000 people, a noisy Bitcoin mine keeps residents up at night. Now, the power plant that fuels it wants to expand, but the neighbors are worried about the impact on their health.

GRANBURY, Texas—About 150 angry residents gathered in a conference center here on Monday for a public meeting hosted by the state environmental agency regarding Constellation Energy’s proposal to build a new 300-megawatt power plant alongside two existing power plants that border residential neighborhoods.
