Afghan Teacher, Imprisoned Tajik Lawyer Win Prestigious Rights Award

Zholya Parsi, a woman’s rights activist in Afghanistan, and imprisoned Tajik lawyer Manuchehr Kholiqnazarov have been declared co-winners of the prestigious Martin Ennals Award, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for human rights.”
