Seven Israelis and one Israeli youth group involved in violent attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank have been hit with financial sanctions and travel bans by the Australian government, foreign minister Penny Wong has announced.

Wong’s office released a statement early this morning on the imposition of Magnitsky-style sanctions over their “involvement in settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.”
