Avon and Somerset police confirm ages of children found at property in early hours of Sunday

The three children found dead at a property in Sea Mills, Bristol, were a boy, seven, a girl of three and a 10-month-old boy, police have said.

A statement read at the scene by Ch Insp Vicks Hayward-Melen, of Avon and Somerset police, said: “We were first called by a member of the public who was concerned for the welfare of the occupants early on Sunday 18 February. Officers arrived at about 12.40am and found three children whose lives could not be saved.
