Babysitter still missing after Queensland house fire that killed girl, 8

The woman, 31, is believed to have died alongside the girl in the fire at a house in Thorneside

Queensland police say they are yet to locate a woman, 31, believed to have died in a fire alongside an eight-year-old girl at Thorneside, south of Brisbane.

It is understood the missing woman was babysitting the girl at the townhouse in Bayside Court when the fire broke out at about 7am on Sunday morning.
