Boy appears in court charged with Sheffield murder of Marcia Grant

12-year-old is remanded into secure accommodation until crown court appearance on Tuesday

A 12-year-old boy accused of murdering a 60-year-old woman by running her over with her own car in Sheffield has been remanded into secure accommodation by magistrates.

Marcia Grant died after she was trapped under her Honda Accord, which is alleged to have been reversed over her at speed outside her semi-detached home in the Greenhill area of the city on Wednesday evening.
