Byelection results live: Tories braced for losses as counting begins in three constituencies

MP candidates await results for the constituencies of Somerton and Frome, Uxbridge and South Ruislip, and Selby and Ainsty

The polls have now closed in the by-elections to choose a new MP in Somerton and Frome, Uxbridge and South Ruislip and Selby and Ainsty.

Voters had been able to cast their ballots from 7am on Thursday.
