California suffers power losses and two deaths after latest storms

Evacuation orders and emergency declarations followed the 10th ‘atmospheric river’ this winter – with more to come on Monday

Thousands of residents were left without power after powerful “atmospheric river” storms struck California again this week.

As of Sunday morning, more than 12,800 Californians were without electricity, according to PowerOutage.com. The majority were customers of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
