Elephant seal that caused havoc in Victorian seaside town reappears at another beach

An elephant seal has reappeared on a Mornington Peninsula beach after winning crowds and smashing windows on Friday on the other side of Port Phillip Bay, where it popped ashore for a trip to the servo.

“I was handed an oar, and was trying to get it back into the beach and into the water,” Glenn Sharp, a regional operations manager with Victoria’s Conservation Regulator, said.
