Guinea’s borders closed after gunmen storm prison and free ex-junta boss along with three others
The former head of Guinea’s 2008 military junta, Moussa Dadis Camara, was sprung from prison by armed men in Conakry in the early hours of Saturday along with three other high-ranking officers, the country’s justice minister said.
The announcement by the justice minister, Charles Alphonse Wright, came several hours after heavy gunfire erupted in the Kaloum district of the capital, Conakry.
