Husband of Nicola Sturgeon had been rearrested as part of police investigation into party’s finances
The former Scottish National party chief executive, Peter Murrell, has been charged in connection with the embezzlement of funds from the party.
Murrell, 59, who is the husband of the former first minister Nicola Sturgeon, was rearrested as part of the Police Scotland investigation into the party’s finances on Thursday.
