Four people struck by lightning at botanic gardens as heavy storm hits Sydney

NSW Ambulance said four people in their 20s and 30s were sheltering under a tree when it was struck by lightning amid heavy rain and storms

Four people have been taken to hospital with burns after being struck by lightning in Sydney’s botanic gardens.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said a tree with four people standing underneath it was struck by lightning at about 12.45pm on Monday.
