Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon ends DJ gigs due to media ‘distraction’

Bank’s board reportedly concerned at attention received by chief executive, who moonlights as DJ D-Sol

The music has stopped on the chief executive of Goldman Sachs’ DJing sideline, amid reports that the US investment bank’s board was concerned his hobby would distract from his main job.

David Solomon has formally hung up his headphones on high-profile gigs. He has not done any public performances in more than a year, the bank said.
