It would be difficult for a gun linked to the deaths of campers Russell Hill and Carol Clay to go off accidentally, a forensic police officer has told a double-murder trial.
Former Jetstar captain Gregory Stuart Lynn, 57, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder over the deaths of Hill, 74, and Clay, 73, in Victoria’s alpine region, and is on trial in the supreme court in Melbourne.
