The duty status of a senior constable who used a Taser on a frail, 95-year-old woman in a Cooma aged care facility is under review, police say, and the homicide squad is investigating the incident.

Grandmother Clare Nowland remains in a critical condition after police confronted her early Wednesday morning in the Yallambee Lodge in Cooma.
