Italy's Lake Garda facing record low water levels – video

Lake Garda in the north of Italy has seen record low water levels, with the small island of San Biagio now accessible via an exposed pathway. The country has faced a drop in rainfall, particularly in north, with Venice facing low tides and dried up canals. In July last year, Italy suffered its worst drought for 70 years and declared a state of emergency in the areas surrounding the Po river.
