ITV investigated relationship between Phillip Schofield and employee in 2020

The presenter and employee denied the rumours at the time they were questioned, broadcaster says

ITV has said it investigated rumours of a relationship between the presenter Phillip Schofield and an ITV employee that were denied by the pair in early 2020.

ITV said: “Further to our statement last night, ITV can confirm that when rumours of a relationship between Schofield and an employee of ITV first began to circulate in early 2020 ITV investigated.
