Julia Gillard’s history-making misogyny speech has been transformed into a new play by award-winning playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, which imagines the lead-up to the iconic parliamentary moment, 10 years after it happened.
Julia, a co-production by the Sydney Theatre Company and Canberra Theatre Centre, premieres on Tuesday night in Canberra, starring award-winning actor and Play School star Justine Clarke as the titular character.
