Putin has no specific plan to speak to president-elect, says spokesperson, after reports Trump urged him not to escalate Ukraine war
The Kremlin has denied reports that the US president-elect, Donald Trump, spoke with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and cast the media reports as “pure fiction”.
The Washington Post first reported that the call between the two took place on Thursday. Reuters also reported that the call took place.
