Man arrested after a woman and two girls were stabbed in east London

Suspect is being held on suspicion of attempted murder following incident in Dagenham

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman and two girls were stabbed in east London, police said.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Dagenham at about 5.30pm on Friday. A woman and two young girls were found with stab injuries on First Avenue and remain in hospital, the Metropolitan police said.
