Man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman’s body found at marina in Reading

Thames Valley police say investigation in early stages and urge public not to speculate

A 61-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was found in the water at a marina in Reading, Thames Valley police said.

DI Richard Pickering, of Thames Valley police, said: “We are in the very early stages of this investigation, and although we have made an arrest, I would urge the public not to speculate on the circumstances of the woman’s death, which is being treated as unexplained at this time.
