Man charged with murder after partner allegedly stabbed to death in Queensland home

A man who allegedly stabbed his 28-year-old partner to death in a Queensland home has been charged with murder after a police chase that involved a helicopter and tyre spikes.

The body of the woman was found at a home in Flinders Drive at Leichhardt, Ipswich after police responded to a welfare check at 9.15am on Monday.
