Scott Phillip White accepted legal responsibility for the death of the US mathematician 35 years ago, although he pleaded not guilty to murder

A man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter over the 1988 death of US mathematician Scott Johnson.

Scott Phillip White was arrested in 2020 almost 35 years after Johnson’s body was found at the bottom of a cliff at a Manly gay beat.
