A Victorian judge has sentenced a killer who launched a “despicable” unprovoked attack on a beloved postmaster at a service station to a maximum of eight-years in prison.
Troy Maskell, 44, will have to serve a minimum of five years of the term before becoming eligible for parole, after being found guiltyof manslaughter for the 2021 killing at a Shell service station in Victoria’s north.
