Moscow Pushes For Lifting Sanctions On Taliban-Led Afghanistan, U.S. Remains Cautious

Russia has urged the West to lift unilateral sanctions on Afghanistan and called for the inclusion of the Taliban-led government in discussions about the country’s future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during the sixth Moscow Format consultations in the Russian capital on October 4.
