New evidence suggests Christopher Columbus was Spanish and Jewish

For centuries it's been widely believed that Christopher Columbus was from the Italian city of Genoa, but new DNA evidence from an ongoing study into his origins suggest that this is false and that he was actually a Spanish Sephardic Jew.
