Self-styled aristocrat, a former judge and retired military officers among suspected Reichsbürger members to appear in court
A self-styled aristocrat, his Russian girlfriend, retired military officers and a former judge have gone on trial in Frankfurt on charges of plotting to violently overthrow the German state.
The court heard on Tuesday how the nine defendants allegedly plotted over a period of around 18 months to overthrow the state, in what the group is said to have branded the “Reactivation of Germany”.
