Japan’s government has called a meeting of its national security council in response to the launches
North Korea has fired two ballistic missiles into the sea off its east coast, according to the South Korean military.
The South Korean military said in a statement that the launch was made on Monday morning, and gave no further details, such as how far the weapon flew.
