A racist text message allegedly sent by the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson set off alarm bells at the top of the network and ultimately led to his firing, the New York Times has reported.
The text, revealed a day before the company was due to defend itself in a high-profile defamation lawsuit, included the line: “It’s not how white men fight.”
