Force says it is assessing material not discovered by earlier investigation into ‘jingle and mingle’ party
The Metropolitan police say they have received new material relating to alleged breaches of Covid rules in Westminster, including of Conservative party activists partying during lockdown.
One event was billed as a “jingle and mingle” party, and held in December 2020 for Shaun Bailey, then campaigning to be mayor of London, when indoor socialising was banned. Video footage of the event, which surfaced on Sunday, has caused outrage.
