Pence's point on gender-affirming care for minors ignores parental consent rules for tattoos

Twice recently, GOP presidential candidate Mike Pence cited tattoo laws as justification for his view that gender-affirming care should be barred for minors, even with parental consent. But this ignores that most states allow parents to consent to minors’ tattoos.
