Penny Wong has held formal talks with representatives from Palestinian communities affected by settler violence as she continued to urge for peace in the Middle East.

The foreign minister’s visit to the region included meetings on Wednesday with officials from Israel and Palestine as calls for a ceasefire in the region grew.
