Points failure at London Euston causes hours-long delays for rail travellers

Network Rail cautions passengers to check services as it reopens lines to and from station after disruption

Rail passengers endured hours of delays and disrupted journeys after a points failure on trains to and from London’s Euston station.

Network Rail warned passengers at Euston to expect “major disruption” on Sunday morning as all trains were suspended from about 10.40am to 1pm at the earliest.
