Prosecutors Seek Eight Years In Prison For Rights Defender In Russia's Komi Republic

Prosecutors in Syktyvkar, the capital of Russia's northwestern Komi Republic, asked a court on May 24 to convict and sentence human rights activist Andrei Ivashev for allegedly making online calls for terrorism.
