Liberal National party backbencher Michael Crandon has apologised for invading the privacy of another MP by snapping a photo of her phone during parliament last year that featured a text message from Steven Miles.
The Queensland premier was accused of lying about the text message, after denying he had sent any message to the Pumicestone MP, Ali King. Crandon’s photo proving Miles’s statement made in parliament last month wrong was made public by Channel Nine on Monday, sparking a scandal.
