For more than a decade Follow the Money has been an established name in Dutch investigative journalism. Our goal: truth-telling in the service of society. Two years ago, we took the big step and started publishing articles on our English-language website ftm.eu. The same goal, but in a different language.
Now we are ready to take ftm.eu to the next level. Will you become part of this adventure and help us reach a bigger audience with our publications? We are looking for a social media and newsletter editor.
These are your duties
- You will help us grow our loyal audience with creative ideas for the platforms where we are already active.
- You’ll be responsible for distributing the articles we publish on ftm.eu. You create the newsletters, and present our stories attractively through our various channels: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- You’ll work closely with our editorial team in Brussels, and at the start of major projects also at our office there. The working language within our team in Brussels is (mainly) English.
- Together with the Dutch social and newsletter editors, you will be responsible for the distribution of major international productions. This means drawing up a plan for distribution via social media, e-mail, press releases and push notifications. You make sure that editors, creatives and others deliver their work to you on time.
- You’ll be a backup for our Dutch-language social and newsletter editor in their absence.
- You’ll keep track of our social stats and suggest actions to improve our posts based on that data.
