This role is ideal for someone in the early years of their career with a passion for social media, audience engagement and innovative digital storytelling, as well as a deep interest in accountability journalism on a global scale. If you have design experience, photography know-how, or can script and edit social video, even better.
ICIJ is a nonprofit newsroom with a track record of publishing award-winning investigations that expose broken systems, corruption, and wrongdoing by some of the world’s most powerful people. We’re seeking someone who can distill complex topics into engaging posts and new formats for our current social platforms — primarily X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook and Instagram — and spark conversations online, wherever they’re happening next.
