Supporting Coastal Communities with Amanda DuPont

We’re celebrating World Oceans Day with actress, model, and TV presenter @amandadu-pont, who recently met coastal communities in Senegal to support them in their fight for survival. Deeply touched by the encounter, Amanda said: “These communities have a special relationship with the ocean because fishing has been in their families for centuries; the ocean is in their blood. However, the industrial fishing industry is robbing them of their livelihoods and destroying their way of life, and they’ve had enough! From Thailand to Senegal, they’re taking a stand against corporations plundering the oceans for profit, stealing food from their tables, and leaving their families to go hungry.
