Four-concert limit cap blamed for stopping Sydney hosting artists such as Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel and Beyoncé

Sydney will be able to host more international acts as the annual cap on concerts in the Sydney Cricket Ground precinct is set to increase.

The SCG precinct and new $828m Sydney Football Stadium is currently permitted to host just four concerts per year, but plans are under way to raise that to 20.
