Taiwan Again Denied Participation in World Health Assembly This Year

PERHAPS UNSURPRISINGLY, Taiwan was again denied entrance to the World Health Association (WHA), the governing body of the World Health Organization this year. In particular, this year did not represent a significant push for Taiwan attempting to secure entrance to the WHA. The COVID-19 pandemic has seen Taiwan cite the dangers to global health that result from its exclusion from the WHA and WHO.
