Multibillionaire Elon Musk, who is currently spending millions to help elect Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, said Americans will face “hardship” if cuts to government spending are made in a possible Trump presidency.
Musk made the comments during a virtual town hall meeting held by his political action committee, America PAC.
“We have to reduce spending to live within our means,” Musk said. “That necessarily involves some temporary hardship, but it will ensure long-term prosperity.”
