Two years after the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, those who fled struggle to survive. One of those who fled was Gaisu Yari, who had to pack up and leave her life in Kabul with only a couple hours’ notice. To collect Afghan refugees’ stories like her own, she began Afghan Voices of Hope. They provide a stark reminder of the challenges of exile, their pain and losses, but also their hope for a brighter future for Afghanistan.
