A man who killed his 11-year-old son by repeatedly punching him before taking him to a country park and telling emergency services he had fallen out of a tree, has been sentenced to life in prison for his murder.

Michael Harrison, 41, previously pleaded guilty to the murder of his son, Mikey Harrison, who was injured on 18 June last year and later died in hospital.
