Why are our gadgets are still manufactured with electricity from polluting fossil fuels?

We’ve made so many major advances in technology over the years, yet our smartphones and other gadgets are still manufactured with electricity from polluting fossil fuels?!😅😟 In a recent study by Greenpeace East Asia and the City University of Hong Kong, it found that over 218 million tonnes more emissions would be generated in 2030 if major manufacturers fail to achieve 100% renewable energy by then. That’s more than the total emissions of the Netherlands! Flooding, storms and heatwaves are getting worse. As we all strive to save the planet, it's time for companies like @SamsungElectronics, UMC (@umc6895) and Luxshare Precision (@LuxshareICT) to take responsibility and pledge to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2030.
