Speaking of ‘iconic’ nature of event, Christian Bunt says he will use controversial new police powers

The police chief in charge of security in Windsor has said he will have “a lower tolerance” for disruption caused by protest due to the “iconic” nature of the coronation.

The Thames Valley police assistant chief constable Christian Bunt, the gold commander for the policing operation over the coming weekend, alsosaid he would make use of new public order laws.
